While I prefer to wash my hair once or twice a week, I obviously needed a redo the next morning.

(According to our stylist, Lindsay, my hair already looked worse than the end of my typical week.)  This time I switched to their volumizing Revive shampoo and conditioner. Unfortunately, I still got the same squeak as I rinsed out my hair. I admit I was skeptical of using such expensive hair products, but honestly they are worth every penny. I was losing a lot of hair from my harsh well water, and the monat shampoo and conditioner has saved me! The ideal consumer for Monat doesn’t have sensitivities or allergies to Monat ingredients.

Of course, it’s possible you could have a sensitivity and not know until you use Monat and have a negative reaction. Procataline, a proprietary blend in some Monat products, supposedly works as an antioxidant to protect your hair from environmental damage. To substitute my beloved Trinity Protein Cream by Surface (my leave-in treatment and strengthener), I massaged in a little bit of Monat’s Restore leave-in Conditioner. It wasn’t quite as magical as Trinity Protein Cream ($28.96/4oz).

Conditioner, the cost breakdown is $23 (for the distributor), $28 (VIP) or $33 (retail).
